ABOUT US
History
Donald Witter Limited was conceptualized by Dawn Witter, wife of the founder Mr. Donald Witter. She encouraged him to open his own business so that he would be better able to serve the masses, after she saw his skills as an engineer and the exponential growth in his customer base. On April 3rd 1994, “the doors” to Donald Witter Limited (then located on red hills road) opened and the initial merchandise: one compressor and a window air conditioning unit- could be found under a blue tarpaulin. From those humble beginnings, a powerhouse company was born.
Today we have four stores; one in each of the following regions: Kingston, May Pen, Montego Bay and Ocho Rios. All stores span the entire width of the island making us better able to serve our wide client base from several industries such as manufacturing, distribution, tourism and restaurants, just to name a few.
Tagline
Our Tagline “We sweat to keep you cool” was coined by our founder Donald Witter. He believed that every customer is a valued asset and we should do our best to ensure that they are satisfied because in his words “no advertisement is better than word of mouth”.
